TRIDRUM
A rhythm machine that writes its own patterns, with TOM, RIM and CLAP each running on a different cycle.
Controls
- To begin
- Press Play and it begins. Rand re-rolls it, and TOM, RIM and CLAP take parts in and out.
- Play
- Start and stop. The samples load on the first press only.
- Rand
- Re-rolls the pattern and density together.
- TOM / RIM / CLAP
- Turn each part on or off.
- Save → 1–10
- Press Save, then a number, to store the current state. Press a number to recall it, hold to erase it.
- BPM / DEN
- Tempo and note density.
- Hold the upper screen
- A fill sounds for as long as you hold, and the regular pattern stops. A new figure is written on every press, and releasing returns to the pattern. You can keep holding with one finger and work the controls below with another.
- Keyboard
- Space starts and stops. Holding F plays a fill.
